Outreach Overview

Anchor Fitness continues to expand our reach to the community each year. We do this by partnering with incredible businesses through a variety of outreach initiatives. Each initiative is unique focusing on bettering the wellbeing of the youth, mothers and many more who struggle with poverty and the health risks that come with their trying circumstances. Below we have some of our non-profit partners listed and a link for you - making it easy for you to get involved with us. Let’s continue to change lives together for the better of our community!

”Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38

During the Christmas season we have a special heart for Clermont County Child Protective Services. Since Anchor Fitness was founded we have partnered with them to sponsor their Christmas wish lists. The impact we are having on our local community is nothing less than an absolute honor. We thank you for your generosity and heart for our community.

EMPOWER YOUTH

Empower Youth was founded by Lori and Scott Conley in February 2015 to partner with children and youth with the hope of instilling in them the confidence and resources needed to break through the chains of generational poverty.

WEIGHTLESS ANCHOR

We are women who believe that people can change through relationship and love. Most importantly we believe in the power of Jesus to heal and make whole. In 2012, BLOC opened the first Weightless Anchor hospitality home in Lower Price Hill in urban Cincinnati to serve women on the streets who struggle with addiction and are victims of sex-trafficking by providing for their basic needs. In the fall of 2015 the second Weightless Anchor Hospitality home was opened in East Price Hill. These facilities offer rest, showers, hot meals, free clothes, and hygiene products, and most importantly, love without a cost.

GIVE LIKE A MOTHER

We are a licensed 501(c)3 nonprofit, clothing assistance program that supplies children in need with seasonally appropriate clothing.

Although, we operate on gently-used clothing, we pride ourselves on providing quality, in-style clothing to our clients. We want children to be proud to wear the clothing they receive. We believe this can increase self-esteem, decrease ridicule, and in turn have a positive effect on their experience and performance in school.

While our name is fun and a little sassy, we mean it as a challenge. Too often, mothers give everything they can for their children and it is still not enough.

This is why we are asking you -  Will you GIVE LIKE A MOTHER and help a child in need?
